The following is a letter from the city of Daytona Beach regarding our Z-9 Coating.
"I would label CimCoate Z-9 as a breakthrough product"
March 29, 2012
To whom it may concern:
Daytona Beach, is proudly the home of the “World’s Most Famous Beach”. Along with this honor, comes one of the world’s harshest environments due to sun, sand, wind and salt air content. Unfortunately this combination will produce corrosion and deterioration in days on improperly protected surfaces. Prior to contracting with Buck Parker and Cimarron South Inc. for application of its “Proprietary Coating”, CimCoate Z-9, it was common for light poles and other metal fixtures to experience severe corrosion within a short period of installation. It was also common to also experienced discoloration, chalking, and flaking paint, as well as nuts and bolts supporting the fixtures corroding and becoming unmanageable.
Over the past four or so years, the City has applied CimCoate Z-9 to over 100 light poles and fixtures along A1A as well as street light poles, and gates and ornamental fencing along several beach side areas. This application has allowed corrosion to essentially stop and the finish remains in near-new condition. This refurbishing and restoration process continues to save the city money, plus gives us a virtually new look without replacing.
The added benefit that CimCoate Z-9 is also considered as non-toxic, was very important to the City of Daytona Beach as it is our policy to use the most environmental sound and safe products available.
This endorsement comes without personal gain to me or the City of Daytona Beach. Based on my many years in construction and maintenance, I would label CimCoate Z-9 as a breakthrough product. In my opinion, it could help any organization to restore, refurbish, maintain the appearance and/or extend the life of metals, fiberglass or other surfaces.
As the Facilities Construction & Maintenance Manager for the City of Daytona Beach, FL, I strongly recommend (Cim-Coate Z9).
Respectfully,
Thomas A. Huger
